Our Purpose And Vision

Our purpose and vision of Holy Spirit Church is to connect, grow as we are in the community, for the community. We connect with Jesus, grow together, and go and make disciples who make disciples. We want to see everyone fulfill their callings and promises in God.

Our Pathway

Through the pathway of participating in corporate worship, cell/intercessors groups as house of prayer, and outreach locally and globally as we seek to fulfill our mission and vision.

Worship

We believe there is power in corporate worship. We gather as a large group each weekend to worship and praise God and to be inspired and instructed by His Word.

Cell Group

Our Vision involves everybody actively participating in a Cell Group. We grow best in close relationships with other believers who are sincerely committed to Jesus and each other.

Cell/ Intercessor Groups are the hub of our ministry as house of prayer. They are the place where you get connected to others, share life together and are encouraged to grow spiritually. We believe spiritual growth happens when people get connected to Jesus, His Word, and to one another. We gather together to share what God is doing in each other’s hearts and lives. We study the Word of God and discuss how to walk this out in daily life while supporting one another through prayer and discipleship as we engage gospel living beyond the walls of the church. This time of meeting together on a regular basis is time well spent. It is our goal to have every member of our church involved in either a Life Group or another similar small group experience.

Outreach Locally & Globally Through The Media

We believe we should be ready to demonstrate God`s love for others. This includes in our neighborhoods, our workplace, reaching out to our community through local outreach keeping a global perspective through global outreach.

Holy Spirit Church 16A Israel Ave, Auckland community is in the community of our church location for the community. As Jeremiah 29:7 states: “Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.” The Lord has opened up many ways for us to be involved and serve in our community.

As the Lord leads, we seek to inspire and empower believers to communicate the gospel of Christ and His love worldwide. We see the Great Commission as our privilege and responsibility. Holy Spirit Church prayerfully, logistically, and financially sow into other global ministries who serve in various cross-cultural locations all over the world. We too encourage those within the congregation to continually pray for and support global missionaries.

Holy Spirit Church believes that to follow completely the example of Jesus Christ the ‘modern day church’ should be one that walks in miraculous power with love! Many different manifestations has happen in our church and webcast as the Holy Spirit truly has freedom to move. These manifestations can include, but are not limited to, falling/resting in the Spirit, shaking, the appearance of drunkenness in the Spirit, crying, laughter/joy, prophetic revelation, visions/trances, tongues, weightiness, physical healing of lame, blindness, deftness and the supernatural appearance of oil in our church interior window frame, walls in the church and our church members home. These Supernatural manifestations, in many forms, can show the Lord’s presence, (Ex. 33:14-16).
